Structure of phase diagrams for n-component (n+k)-phase chemical systems: the concept of affigraphy

Abstract : From a reaction matrix of a system with n independent components and n + k phases with fixed composition, we construct a k-dimensional diagram (the so-called affigraphy) whose intersection with a two-dimensional variety gives the structure of a class of phase diagrams of the system.
