Quelle place accorder aux objets abstraits dans les ontologies fondatrices ?

Abstract : In this article, we aim to shed light on the metaphysical foundations of ontologies by proposing to equate ontological categories with types of abstract objects of thought. To clarify our notion of abstract object, we equip ourselves with an ontological theory of intentionality by returning to the sources of the Brentanian school and, on this occasion, we rehabilitate the abstract state of affairs. We then resume our work on the ontology of events to identify them as abstract states of affairs. On the basis of these commitments, we outline a new foundational ontology.
