The First International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (ICAIDS 2021) focused on the emerging trends, theories, development, applications, experiences, and evaluation of artificial intelligence with fellow students, researchers, and practitioners. The conference is devoted to increasing the understanding of the role of technology, current issues, and how engineering has, day by day, evolved to prepare human-friendly technology. The conference aims to provide a platform for bringing forth significant research and literature across the field of artificial intelligence and data science for the welfare of society and to provide an overview of cutting-edge technologies. In the current era of computing, technologies like artificial intelligence, data science information processing, the Internet of Things, and data analytics have their own significance. This volume contains the papers presented at the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (ICAIDS 2021) held during December 17–18, 2021, at Sreyas Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The prime objective of this conference was to bring together researchers and developers from industry and academia to share new ideas, research results, and development experiences on artificial intelligence and data science for mutual benefits and knowledge sharing. As such, the conference had two main technical tracks: (i) artificial intelligence for intelligent applications and (ii) data science for emerging technologies.
