Thermal stability under different redox conditions of CexZr1-xO2 mixed oxides as potential TWC support
Abstract
It was studied the textural and structural changes in several Ce-Zr mixed oxides. The crystal size and specific surface area were followed upon calcination at 1223 K versus the time. It was also controlled the atmosphere composition. Gas mixture of O2, CO2 and H2O for oxidising condition and, H2 and H2O for reducing condition. Important differences have been found in the textural and structural features upon calcination in these two different atmospheres.
