Editorial: Sustainable efficiency and management issues in urban goods transport: new trends and applications
Abstract
This themed volume brings together papers from a session track on urban goods movement at the 14th World Conference on Transport Research (WCTR) in Shanghai in July 2016 together with papers concerned with the theme of sustainable efficiency and management issues in urban goods transport. This themed volume is a contribution to extending knowledge on urban goods transport and to provide new insights into management and decision making. It is the second themed volume on urban goods transport, and contributes to the field already initiated with Research in Transportation Business & Management. Volume 11 ‘Managing Freight in Urban Areas’ (Giuliano, 2014).
