Visualisations of collective interactions in a replayer (application to the LEAD CoFFEE tool)
Abstract
We need to make choices about the replayer. Discussion of these choices reveals two " philosophical directions " in which we can go. Based on our current, limited understanding of the researcher's needs, we think the global view is probably the better choice. We need the pedagogical partners' input to make the right choice. The discussion also highlights questions regarding the student and teacher userinterfaces. We also discuss the feasibility of various solutions but believe that as this is a research project, making the correct long-term decision (or at least discussing these solutions) is just as important as choosing one which is technologically and pragmatically feasible.
