In the field of Process and Chemical Engineering training, it is interesting and efficient to use a simulation tool in order to familiarize students and/or future operators with real industrial context. In fact, it can represent a behaviour as close as possible to the real process', and thus give the students a good general idea of the problems. The project describe in this paper consists in the realization of a simulator prototype applie to an industrial Wastewater Detoxication Process (WWDP). This tool, which has been developed in EasyJava, is also interesting for the formation in industry. A few notions in the WWDP, modelling of the system, as well as some main utilities of the simulation tool are presented.
